Anderson and Nalder (22) beat Henderson and Wicken (6), Williams and Stevsuaou (16) beat Blair and Reynolds (13). Pankhurat and O’Gorman (15) beat Blaekraore and Bnchan (12), Baxter and Jones (23) beat Stanley and Paters (13). Christie and R ; ng (17) beat Mouatt and Cooper (16).' Rogers and Mackay (15) beat Chalk and Smith (7). 4 SECTION WINNERS. Pairs —Baxter and Jones (Grey), Williams and Stevenson (Hokitika) Fletcher and Fletcher (Grey), Cochrane and Trnscott (Grey). SECTIONAL PAIRS. Stevenson (12) beat Jones (10). Trnseott (14) beat Flgtcber (4). Trnecoit (14) beat Mackay (5). •RINKS. Stevenson and Wilson (Hokitika) played twelve beads at the end of wh : ch Wilson was leading by 14 points to 10. Toe remainder of the heads to decide the winning rink will be played at Hokitika. In the pairs semi-final it was decided that the game be judged on five beads. Stevensoa (7) beat NMder (5). FINAL PAIRS Cochrane and Truseott (27j beat Williams and Stevenson (7.) This was a mo3t interesting contest, all playing splendidly. Cochrane and Trnscott played throughout the tournament without loss and Williams and Stevenson oniy had one loss, which was in the final. A.t the conclusion of the tournamaat Mr Ring (President of the West Coast Centre) presented ths Hallenstein Cup to the winuers of the pairs. ~
He al-o presented the Usher Cup to Mr Wilson (President of the Hokitika Club) to present to the winners of the final rinks.
Mr Ring thanked tin ladies for the splendid way in which thay bad entertained the bewlei’J, and Messrs Henderson and Wicken, secretary and president of the Tonroaraent Committee, for their good management. A voter of thanks was carried by acclamation to Mr Mentiplay (Westport) for the arranging of the order of play ; aiso to Mss3rs Lachner and Byrne for the fine condition of the green.
Messrs Wilson (Hokitika), Mackay (Westport) and Reynolds (G?eymoutb) thanked Reefton for the most enjoyable time, Mr Henderson replying on behalf of the Reefton Club. This concluded the most successful tournament yet held on the West Coast.
