Cable Association) (Received Jan 19, at 9.5 a.m.) New York, Jan 18 Daspalches from Buenos Ayres and Rio de Janievo fear that the British steamer Paraguay and French steamer Admiral Latoaohe Treville, which left Pernambuco in January, have been captured by the raider which is reported to have left Kiel, under (be Danish ffeg, bgllastcd with iron and a crew of 250 end four officers.
The greatest precautions were taken that prisoners should not learn any secrets. They were kept below decks, and suffered severe hardships and had little food,
The identity of the raider is undisclosed. The survivors say it is either the Yineia or of the Moewo type. It is reported that several Japanese officers aboard the Hudson Maru, were ehot for resisting. The Hudson Maru was captured on January 12th and the crews from the other ships were put aboard with a German prize crew, which took it to Pernambuco, flying the German flag.
