COMBING OUT.
More Men to be Taken. (Au stralian&N.Z, Cable Association)! London, Jen 17 The War Office has issued a series of orders as a prelude to a more resolute combing out. Oae requires employers to supply monthly lists of employees between 18 aud 42 including oasmsls.
Also a return of women and men outside the age limits, to enable the War Office to judge how far the system of substituting those utilised. Another order requires half the young, fie eing'e men under 26, employed in agriculture, to join the colors immediately. It is estimated the order affects 60,1)00, Ic is believed that agriculture is over staffed in some diatrictaand under staffed in others. A number of class C 3 men will be handed over to farmers to replace the fit youths.
