During the week-end'the aibove section played many matches amongst itsown members in v the club handicaps.

In the Men's singles several very interesting games were contested with, the following ■ results:—W. Lees junr. played Gk Wright, the former winning hy 50-^-42. These players shawed goodl forim and the match proved1 very interesting to the onlookers. ''-.■-■

Another good game was played between H. Ginger plus 8, and G. Seynolds, ser., the former player winning by 50—30. :,\

In the Men's Doubles/R. P. Adams and E. McDonald met T. Ward and J* Rawnsley, the first named pair winning (by 50—43. In this match the winnexs showed remarkably good form, especially as their opponents seemed to*playing well.

In the Combined Doubles Miss Thorpe iand R. McDonald played Miss I. Davidson andi J. M. Power. This game was a long struggle and resulted in Mise Thorpe a-nd McDonald winning 50 —3& It looks as^ if this pair might win the tournament judging by their steady and consistent play in this match.

'After these games several of tius players went to Murit&i to the Temnto ClxJb dance held at the Day's Bay; pavilion. The music and dancing waa thoroughly enjoyed by all who made' the trip, and all returned with the felling that it was "the end of a perfect day."
