FANCY DRESS DANCE AT MOERA.

The Moera Girl Guides held a Fancy Dress Dance on Wednesday last. The children all looked very pretty and seemed to have had* a very enjoyable evening. Many very nice pizes were given, all of which were kindly donat4ed. Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Thomson judged the dresses which was no easy riwoi-k, as they all looked very charming. The prize winners were:- —iPinlk Pierott (Betty August); Dutch Girl, (Joy August); Merry-go-round (Doreen Albbott); Three Castles, (Neta Hunt); "Why Did I Kiss the Girl," (Gladys Middleton); Mary Arm, (Edna Jeffries) liable Hepburn. and Jessie Me Autry (Sleepless Nights); Harem Lady (Joyce Carson); Pixie. Uno (Mavis Kershaw); Aulsebrook Biscuits ((Hunt) ; Buy N.Z Products (Vera Scott and Gwen Hepplefeton). Eajah (Ken Carson); Mephostophales (Eric Carson); Backward Boy (M. Bunt); Pierott (Jack Welmonte); Shino, (Jack Findley). Miss Scaly presented the prizes. ' The children enjoyed dancing until supper time when they all partook of a dainty supper provided by the committee.
