CORRESPONDENCE.

WIRELESS.

For some time past the residents of Hume Street have been . entertained every night by a l&u'd speaker which broadcasts from 2YA, and even on "silent **■■ night we are not given any respite as on this occasion we either hear other New Zealand stations *ar Sydney. On Sunday nights the religious service loses all its attractiveness by being belched forth, the preacher's voice being so loud, it is akin to standing iv the Post Office Square at an open air-meeting. It is a pity wireless enthiisiasls'have i not a little more thought for those in the vicinity who are obliged to listen whether they want to or not. Most of us appreciate music but when it i» thrust on yoxt from a load speaker every night, it is most annoying to say the least. Thanking you for encroaching on your space,—l am etc., A HUME STEEIBT BESIDENT.
