"AT HOME" AT THE WAIWHETU METHODIST CHURCH.

I A most enjoyable concert and social evening was held at the Wniwhetu Methodist Church on Wednesday evening, November sth. There wore about 50 persons' present and the excellent ' programme was arranged by the Rev. A. Harding. The performers were:1 — Violin, Mr. Crawford; songs, Mesdam.es Johnston and Aldersley and Mr. Maud; Messrs Muir, of Island Bay, elocution.-, axy items; pianoforte solo, Miss Maunder; pianoforte duet, Mrs Turner and Mrs Lawn. After an excellent supper a competition was held of which Miss Maunder proved the winner. The.proceeds of the collection go to the leader of the Christian Endeavour, which is greatly in need of funds. ,
