EPUNI TENNIS CLUB DANCE.

The Epuni Tennis Club dance, held in the Epuni sc&ool-room. on Saturday night, proved a particularly jolly affair. The school-room was crowded and looked very bright and cosy with its. greenery,, coloured lights, streamers and balloons. The very live orchestra con- ; sisted of Miss Shenvood, at the piano, ' Mr. A. Clark, banjo, and Mr. T. Forrester, violin and Mr. H. Dv Faut very efficiently carried out the duties of M.C. During the evening Miss M. Harris of Petone, rendered a vocal item. The ■committee was as follows:—-Mrs Dv Fanr, Miss F. Parsons (secretary), Miss T. Ensor, Miss Walker, and Messrs Eason and Rookes. Amongst those present were Mrs Dv Faur, black georgette; Miss Hale, orange organdie over, satin; Mrs. Tynan, heliotrope ray-de-chine; Miss Nattrass, mauve ohantilly lace over georgette; Miss Harris, parchment lace and georgette; Miss Parsons, floral georgette; Miss T. Parsons, apricot crepe-de-chine; Mrs Beaumont, blue and biscuit crepe-de-chine; Miss Benge, black taffetas; Miss M.
