OPENING OF METHODIST TENNIS COURT.
The Rev. H. Sharp officially opened the Methodist Tennis Court on Saturday afternoon, and in doing so said /that ike hoped all the nfconibers of the cJnib wwild be very happy in their as-
sociation with each other, and he also
said in t-he course of his remarks that ; sport plays a veTy important part in , the moulding of character^ for so many ■excellent qualities, such as patience, perseverance and the spirit of eomera- ' derie are thereby developed. Mr. Sharp ! also remarked that the Hutt Metlhidists, I should be excellent citizens for nearlby -, they have the baths which ; are con-' j ducive to bodily cleanliness,/-and which. 1 provide •healthful exercise for the I'ibody, wittih the church winch ministers; to their spiritual needs opposite, and at the back of the church, the tennis court, which provides exercise of an-. other description.
