TRINITY CHURCH BAZAAR.

The Bazaar which took place at the Trinity Congregational Church Hall on Satu'i'duy afternoon and evening was held under the auspices of the Ladies' Guild and in aid of the Church funds. The Bey. E. T. Wea'riie ■ thanked the ladies of the Guild who had, for a year, . worked so strenuously, and then introduced Mrs. W. Nash, who, in declaring the Bazaar open, said that she. hoped. those present ivould idealise the object for whic-b. the Bazaar was held, and buy liberally. BaTibara McLeod then presented Mrs. Nash with a charming bouquet. The Bey. Harry Johnson, of Wellington, Moderator of the Congregational Union of New Zealand, also spoke, and congratulated the ladies on •the excellent display of work and,wished them success, in tlieir effort. The J business of buying and selling then commenced, and the following ladies ! were stall-holdersl:—Sweet Stall: Miss ■Meldrum. and Edna McMillan; Fancy .Stall, Mrs. Christie and Mrs Norris; j Juimble Stall, Mts Wearne senr., (Wellington), Miss Wearne and Miss Theakfitone; Plain Stall, Mrs. Cox, Mrs Body and Mrs. V&rin; Cake Stall, Mrs. Jarvis and Mrs Gradon; Children's Stall, Winnie Hickling, Louie Leggott, Beryl Arann; Fish Pond, Miss E. Martin and Bessie Body; Afternoon Tea, Mrs. Hfickling and Mrs. Martin. There was a short musical programme in the evening. ' .
