The opening of the season of the clut> was held on the school courts on Saturday 4th inst., about 40 visitors and memlbers being present. •Mr. Dv Faur, club captain, in. der daring the season open, wished members a successful season and a happy' one". ■■'■-• Practise games were the order of the iafteraoon and a very enjoyable time was spent. A dainty afterno©nvsea was served by the hotesses, Misses P."Harris and R. Gorrie/and was greatly appreciated. • * It is tßie intention of the eommititee to hold a dance on Satmrday, 11th inst in the Epuni School when both young and old are invited to a mixed dance— old-time and otherwise. .
