BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
A very pleasant afternoon was given on Tuesday by Mrs. Harry Mitchell of Melling to the 'bridge' players ,of t>he Waimarie Croquet Club. A - competition, which caused much, amusement, was Avon by' Mrs. Strand. The prizes for bridge were won -by Mesdames W. Lees arid Koiiiidhill. v Tho hostess received her guests wearing a charming frock of black georgette and brocaded bridge coat.
