HARRIERS.

The Hutt Valley.lady harriers spent a delightful afternoon at Mrs. Powell's residence, Jessie Street", Potone on Saturday. They commenced their run at 2.30, running along the Esplanade until reaching the bitumen works, /then around the Shandon golf course and returned home along Railway Parade. Tie run was approximately three miles.

On their return, Mrs. Powell, assisted by her daughter, provided a delightful afternoon, tea which was enjoyed by all. At the conclusion, the captain, on behalf of ■ the club, thanked Mrs. Powell for her hospitality. .
