The N.Z. Hockey Shield remains in Qhristab.»!rch. A strong team was sent South last week, but they were unable to wrest the Shield from Canterbury, the game, •resulting in a draw—two goals being scored by each team. Canterbury have now successfully -withstood two -challenges this season, the game with Ota/go also being drawn. SENIOK B. The Senior B (A Team) met.: Varsity A on Hutt No. 1 last Saturday. After a fast and interesting tusscl Varsity emerged winners ,by 6 goals to 3. The first spell ended Varsity 3, Hutt 1. Matthews scored 'f or Hutt-.
