HAUTANA CROQUET CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Hautana Croquet Club was held recently. The annual report was accepted, and the balance sheet showed a very satisf ac- ■ tory position. .■-,.! The following officers for the season were elected:—-President, Mrs. W. Andrews; Vice-president, Mrs. Capes; Hon. Secretary, Mrs. Poole; Treasurer, Mrs K. Loekett. General Committee: .Mes- , dames Watterston, Adams, McHyride, j Dowland, Campbell and Thompson. i The President and members of the club entertained their honorary memhers and friends on Thursday last at an afternoon at Mrs. W. Andrews's residence, where a very enjoyable time was spent by all. Miss J. Andrews's recitation and Mrs. Schmidt's song were, very much appreciated. The winuers of the various competitions were Ift fs Woods, Mrs. Cootey, Mrs. Warburton, and Mrs Mouat.
