WEDDING.
HAMEUI?PN-^CRI<}HTON. A quiet buj/ pretty wedding waa =>o!eihnised by the Rev. J. Lopdell at i>t. -Stephen's Church on Saturday evening, when Maisie, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Hamilton, of Edinr burgh, was married to William, son of Mr. and- Mrs. J. Crighton, of the Hutt. Mr. Lv Burns carried out the duties of best man. The bride who entered the chuFeh on the arm of Mr. David MeWthrrter (the bridegroom's uncle), -wore a simple but charming frock of l>eige taffeta, the corsage being sleeve•Jess, and perfectly plain, while th» double skirt dipped at each sidei Her hat was of wide fawn felt and she wore .shoes and stockings to harmonise. Her maid was Miss Neta Russell, of Petone, who was in a fawn crepe-de-ehone with double skirt and uneven hem, and wore a close fitting felt hat to tone.' Her •ensemble w&s completed with fawn stockings and black satin, silver-heeled shoes. Each .carried a prayer book* Mrs. .MeW&irter, an aunt of tne bridegroom, received the guests in a •costume of navy blue crepo-de-ehene .and fajwn hat, with shoes and stock: ings to tone. The bride's travelling costume was of navy blue, with a hat of fawn felt.
