HUTT v, WELLINGTON A. Flaying at Karori, Hutt were defeated by Wellington by sto 1. S. Bennett scored Hutt's only goal in the first iive minutes of t»he game. The game was very even, play going (from one end of the field to the other. In the last five or ten minutes .Hutt had Wellington penned up in theiT own twenty-five but they, wei-e uuaible to score. The Hutt foirwards lacked finish; tSxey often took the ball up to Wennington 's twenty-five and then let Wellington's twenty-five and tihen let halves/did oill that was expected of them, but the pentre half was off his game. Tihe full backs were : fairly, steady but occasionally let balls--pass them which the Wellington ■ forwards made the most of. '
SENIOBS. . On the local ground the Senior A teanvwent doiwn to Karori 6—3 The Senior B (]3 team) defeated Wellington 3—l. Senior B (A- team) hed a bye.
