BEAUTIFUL HUTT VALLEY.
On the bonnie hills of Belmont And the braes of Normandale, There is beauty—-there is splendour ..Of which nothing can exeell. Old- .Naturo spreads her mantle , ■ Roixnd those lovely hills and-braes She paints and beautifies them. With her glorious,,sunshine' rays. I love to watch the streamlet As it glides down through the glen For there's music in its murmTa: , To cheer the hearts of men. And all along the Valley Then; N"at<ure's verduTe grows And is watered by Hutt river • As- to the sea it flows. ' • f love to sit on Petonc beach, -Arid gaze across the sea; It reminds me of Auld .Sebbland The land of the brave and free. ' W; Watson, Moora.
