At the Wellington Provincial Tournampnt held J at the Low or Hutt,.-Mrs- J.ohnson won both- tJie Open and Ladies' ChampionsQiips'; Mcsdanies Kelly and Tay'lor were runners-up in the Club Pairs; Mrs, Walker ruhnerrup in the Handicap Singles;' and Mrs; Roundhill who with a> partner won the Post Entries. ■ Mrs Johnson also proved herse'M the Champion of Ghampionß in the A Grade of fhe Wellington District. ' The retiring President (Mrs Savage) has held this position for the past five years and has always been ready to give ier time and advice, in all cluib matters. Mrs Cameron, retiring honorary secretary for the past five years, has also been an al>le and willing worker in all interests of the club. v Thanks are due to Mr Edwards (caretaker of Kiddiford Park), and his assistants for willing help during the past season; to the Chairman of Reserves and Lower Hutt Borough. Council for their kindly consideration in all matters, when appealed to; also to the eTuib memibers who by their hearty co-opera-tion have made the 1929-30 season a success.
