Veal and Ham Patties.
Take £lb eooited veal, Jib i&m, i pint plain white savee, pinch of mace, pinch, of grated lemon xind, salt and pepper, puix pastry. Line rattier deep patty-tins _v;ith pastry. Chop real and hani finely. Add' the white sauce to the meat, then the mace, lemon-rind, salt and pepper. Mix wiell, place in lined tins, cover with the remaining pastry and bake a golden brown. May be seTved either hot or cold.
Dqa't, allow your duties to hurry you. Things of lesser importance can wait or be left undone.
