The local firm of Messrs Maelaren and Nisbet is to be congratulated on the success of its first real estate auction sale. On Saturday afternoon, 10th. inst., Mr-. A.7W. Nisbet conducted the sale o-f't'he /'.Sunny Avon Estate" in Beauchop Road and met with very satisfactory results. Several sections were sold under the hammer at satisfactory prices and it is expected that several more will be disposed of by private treaty- within a few days. The sections lie well to the sun and are all ■well drained, many being elevated several feet above the road. The quality of t'hc land is unexcelled in the valley and will lend itsef admirably to the making of beautiful ihome gardens.
