The.Committee reported as follows:
Acting Chairman,—Your Committee has to recommend) that Councillor Campbell be appointed acting chairman during Councillor Meßain's absence. Street Name Plates.-—An offer to sup-, ply all the street .flame plates required for the sum of £75 is recommended for acceptance. Provision for this expenditure will be made on the current year's estimates. Formation of Richmond Street. —-A' request has been made that Richmond Street, off White's Line, be formed, kerbed, channelled and provided with services. Your Committee has replied that it could riot recommend Council to give any undertaking regarding the carrying out of this work at this juncture.
