There were pßson't Mrs Ecbb and Messrs G. A, BaVtes. J. ChaTriberikin, D. Daniells, M. GriWjley S. D. Moriis, A. G. Mumby, A. E. Salisbury, J. Sclater, H. White, C. H. Young and .Gibson Young, all •f whom, with the exception of Mr. Selader, represeu'ted the Hutt V^alley.'

n-solved that, the name of Ike As'socrv•tion should be "The Wellington and Suburban Poultry-keepers' Club.'' The outline of the Constitution being decided on, the quesloin of subscription was discussed at length, an.l it was decided that,, in order to secure asi many members as possible from among the smaller poultry keepers, the i minimum subscription should bo 2/(i. This was the amount fixed by the N.Z.P.A as being tihe fee per member for affiliaitkm. Messrs'Mum'by and Salisbury were 'appointed delegates to the Wellington Provincial Council which - was to meet in the Farme-rw' Institute it 1.30 p.m on Thursday -Sth M<ay> to
which, meeting, tike chairman intimated, all poultry keepers were invited.
As time did not permit of the completion of the initial business a provisional committee was formed composed of all those present with Mr Bates as convenor, who would call a further mcetting ait an early date.
