T-]ie regular meeting of the Hutt Valley High School Board of Governors, wasNheld last Thursday evening. There wore present Mr. H. G. TeagJe (chairman), Mr. D. A. Ewen and Captain Qlphert. .

The Principal reported that a cheque for £70 had been received from the Hutt Valley HigvhSehopl Parents' Association • for school improvements. Members expressed their .gratitude' for thej cheque "and for the continued interest taken by the* Association in the work of the school. It was decided to .coriyp.y the thanks of the Board by letter. . ' The question of lighting the gymnasium was left with..the principal to arrange. _ .
