GARDEN PARTY
The fancy stall at the garden party to be he-Id at the Convent next Saturday will surely be a revelation to those attending that function, and the exquisite tray-cloths of Riechlieu work, •charming little frocks, woollcy garments and cushions of volvpca work will,certainly captivate the fancy of patrons, j A raffia tray, dainty tra^loth with-j plate, cup and saucer, wa§ v t-h^e - worK;; and gift of a small Convent boarder. There are to be many competitions aiui prafflesi, some of the prizes for th«e> former being a doll's pa-am and beautiful woolly robed dolly and two beautiful crepe-de-chine painted and fringed ahawla, and the choice prizes for the raffles have for some time been on view* in shop windows —a beautiful eiderdown and Riec&lieu tray-cloth in. -Morrison and Cunningham's window, and a fire-screen in Mr. Moss's window. There will, of couTse, be many other' stalls arid ga^nes for the young folk.
The garden-party commences at 2.30 p.m next Saturday. >
