Two cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup strong cold tea, 2 teaspoons bicarb, soda, loz butter ,1 cup currants, 1 cup stoned raisins, 1 cup sultanas, a little chopped lemon-peel. Turn into a round cake tin lined with ;buttered .paper, and bake at once in a hot over from 20 to ID minutes, "When quite cold, ice' in the following manner: Mix the remaining lemon juice with $ teagpoon cold water, then , stir in aa much icing sugar as will make a t>Mn" ptste. Spread over top of cake, and leave to dry in a cold place. The cake is good without any icing.
