'• ~-:■.. A very thorough insipection .of the area affected by the stream was made, and, the difficulties rand ossibilitpies of the vaTious suggestions advanced f,ully discussed. It tPas suggesfe'tf by Mr. Nash that stop banks .should be buili on both sides of the stream and that the low lying swamp land should be :l'Jed up and where culvert required it, tUcy should be duplicated to allow flood v?fclers to get away. •• , ~
The Minister promised that as soon as the joint report was received he vrncld take v pthe matter with the Minister of Lands and in view of the prospects of work being provided he would see that the investigation was pophed forward as. rapidly as.possible."
