COMING OF AGE.

A very happy evening was speit at theOddfellows' Hall, Petone, on April 12th when Mr and Mrs &. P. Holland : entertained a . number of friends in honour--6f the coming of age of their daughter,.. Gweri. Mrs Holland received her' guestswearing a beige " georgette and lacefrock. Miss Gwen Holland, wore a beautiful frock of pink satin an&i tulle, the bodice being of satin crepe tight fitting,, the skirt a full flare with tiny frills of tulle to the ankles. After -a .sumptuous supper the guest of the evening cut the beautiful pink birthday cake, which wasdeeorated with twenty-.one kewpies. ■Mr Holland' presented his daughter with a. golden key and Mr Maef arlane handed her another from a "Wellington friend. Several toasts were honoured and-then. cJancing was indulged in until midnight. Among those present were:—Mrs M» Price, black georgette and lace; Mrs E. J.
