KNOX LADIES' MISSIONARY UNION.
The members of the Knox Ladies' Missionary Union were recently the guests of tihe Methodist Women's Missionary Auxiliary. A large number of
members were present from both Unions and a most enjoyable time was. spent. After a brief; devotional ser-' vice led by the Methodist President, Mrs. Ballarityiie, and a. short- business session, tea was served and' Mrs. MeCaw (President of the Knox Union)> occupied the chair for the remainder of the afternoon, the speakers being Mesdames Smaill, Bertram, Matiher and ; ' ■ - ','■■■ 'fir.
MeCaw, the subject being the different1 phrases of Presbyterian.'Mission work in New Zealand. Mrs. Ballahtyne voiced the appreciation and interest which the assembly had listened
to the addresses and tie meeting closed with, the Benediction.
