AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW.
The Autuma Bwer Show, keld under the auspices of the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society, promises to be a very pleasing function, and with the three previous shows held this season will make a! very successfvl your.
The Show will be' officially opened on Wednesday, l&th April, by His Excellency the Governor-General^ accompanied by Lady Bledisloe at 2.45 p.m. Arrangements ihave been made for the scholars of the -district to give their Excellencies a Tight royal welcome on •the occasion of their first visit .to t»he
Hutt "tfalley. y " This Show is often called the GhrysanJthemum Show, as this flower will be the eiief feiEtture. ''.'.'
In the Open-Class, the trophy for the Points Prize is at present held by Dr. j. r. Bora. -. ■"•/■;. - "■■ ',"

Tihe Hiifct yalley is. suitable for the growing of vegetables and with the great influx of residents there should be keen competition both in-'the Open and Amateur Classes. .''■'"''
The Decorative Section should again provide a great artistic display, and with this Show will determine* the winner of the Kersley Rose Bowl for the year, Mrs S. M. Hobbs being the present 'holder. . • . - -
The ladies will aOso be exhibiting in the Home Industries, Cooking, Sweets,
and Needlework,
There are also sections^ for the children in the Decorative and Cooking classes, and for Writing and Best Dressed Doll.
We have been asked to dTaw the exhibitors/ attention to Section 122. This should be in the Gteneral Olasses.Special Collection of Dahlias, space 9 square feet. This section, should provide an exeeptiVmal. display,' as there are at present some fine blooms in the Hutt district. ' v •'
Donations of cakes, sweets,, cut flowers^and vegetables will be appreciated. Visitors to the Hutt Shows always like
