HUTT VALLEY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
The Hutt Valley Horticultural Society, which is organised by a keen and energetic executive, deserves the support of every resident in the Hutt Vally. The horticultural exhibitions staged by the society, are recognised as some of the premier displays of the Dominion and each show surpasses tli* previous one. The Autumn Show bo held on Wednesday and Thursday-, 16th and 17th April, gives every promise af a delightful display. His Excellency, Lord Bledisloe, the Governor-General; accompanied by Lady Bledisloe, has accepted the executive's invitation to officially open the Autumn Show on Wednesday, the 16th April at 2.45 p.m. Citizens are asked to assist in giving T-hcir Excellencies a right royal welcome. A display of bunting, a Guard of Honour by the Cadets and School Girls, and the children from all the schools lined along High Street to the Town Hall, would be a happy feature of therr first visit to tke Hutt Valley.
