LOWER HUTT LADIES ' MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.

The annual meeting of the above clKub was .held -on Club's Kange on^ Thursday, March 13th, there/ being a' large number of. members present, and Mrs J/Donkin "presided. The secretary;.'s report showed that the club had a very successful yearand that Mesdames Ching, Rushton, Skipage- and Miss Donkin were suer eessful in the Wairarapa championships. The club's championship was won by' Mrs Skipage for the second year in succession. Miss Donkin. tvbA runnerup. Other, members.; to win trophies were Mrs Haden (s2), Mrs Ching, Mrs Skipage, Mrs V'errall, Mm- Pelham, Mrs Rushton and Miss Dorfkin.* C Grade

aggregate ; was won by Miss Joyce Skipage, Miss Howe runner up. Six members took part, in /*Own Start*' Competition under tbe auspices of the N.Z.M.EA. Mesdam'es Ching and Bushton scored possible with their handicaps; The dab has been fortunate in having numerous trophies presented to it for competition, during the past-year and is greatly indebted to the followxng;—Mesdames Meagher, Muirry, Sullivan, August senr., "J. The annual social and presentatiooa. of prizes took place on oSTovember 28th. in the King ,George Theatre the club combining with the Men's Club for this event. The social was a sueeees 'both., socially and financially. 'Special thanks are due. to the coaches, Messrs Ching and Hare, for their services at. all,times; also to Mr. T.-Skipage for acting as-marker.
