FIRE.

At about 9 o'clock on Tuesday evening the Fire Brigade received a call to N.Z: Sawmillers, in Riverbank street. The outbreak occurred in tie sawdust hopper close to the company's buildings. Although the flames were lighting up the sky when the brigade arrived on tßre scene they were quickly extinguished when the hose was brought into play. The Brigade undoubtedly effected a very fine save. in a Temarkably short space of time from receiving the alarm. .
