RIFLE SHOOTING
HUTT VALLEY LADIES' MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.
The annual general meeting of the above club was held on February 25th. The balance sheet showed the club to be in a financial position, after the strenu* ous work of the members to make up the misfortune that befei the club.
The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, A. Bowden Esq; presi' dent, Mrs Childs; vice-presidents, Mesdames Stellin, Stickles, Henderson, Oakley (re-elected). Messrs Spencer, Maw by, Collett, Liebezeit, Stewart, Kirkwood, Longman, Mclntyre, Tremayne, Coulbear, Greenfield, Dr. Bakewell and several others; captain, Mrs May; viceeaptain, Mrs Greenfield; secretary, Mrs Nightingale; assistant secretary, Mra Taylor; treasurer, Mrs V. Lusty; committees, offiecers and M'esdames Frost, House, Ellis, Miss Wale; coach, Mr Nightingale; auditors, Messrs Childa, MaTsden; delegate to W.M.8.A., Mrs Nightingale.
Eight new members were initiated which makes the club membership fairly lrt*6ng._ .
