The monthly meeting of the Lower Hutt Chamber of Commerce was »held in Gfantham's Luncheon Booms on Wednesday, 12th inst, the President, Mr. Justin M. Power, presiding.

After a keen discussion on the Biver Board's action in declining it&.e tender of the Aero Club dfor the leasing of portion of Gear Island, the secretary was instructed to write the Biver Board stating that the Chamber views with great alarm the Board's action In not providing the facilities for the exr pansion of aviation in this valley.

It was also resolved to circularise the members of the Chamber, advising " r of the approaching annual meeting during April and asking for the early submitting of any notice of motion for thia forthcoming general meeting.
