A. E. Parkin, proceeded against. Florence Wright (separate estate) and) Of. Wright foi< £2/2/9, allegedly due as^ subscription for the delivery of a newspaper. Mr C. R. Barrett appeared for the plaintiff and Mr A. B. Sievwright for Mr Wright. The defendants succeeded on a point of law and judgment was entered for them accordingly.

DRIVING AT AN EXCESSIVE SPEED

Louis Whitcombe was charged with driving a car on the main road at Taita at a dangerous speed. , '

Constable C. E. Tanner said defendant was driving at a speed! of about 50 "miles" an 'lio'iirr There was considerable traffic on the road at the time.

Whitcombe was convicted and fined
