WEDDINGS.

The wedding was recently solemnised at Lower Hutt of Lilian Annie, daughter of Mr and Mrs. W. Featoaby, of Lower Hutt, to 'Henry George, son oif Mr and Mrs. Malin^bf.Wellington. The peremqny was performed'by Archdeacon HanselL in St. James's Church,. The bride, who entered t-hs church on the arm of her father, wore a gown of cream la"fie over white satin,, with long sleeves and uneven hem', and satin! bow at the waist, with which* she wore,tie usual veil- and orange blossoms. HeT, effective bouquet wa£ of cream roses, gladioli; carnations and maidenhair fern. The Misses -Kelly (chief), and Dorothy .JTeatonfoy were bridesmaids, Miss Kelly's frock was of silver lace, with georgette' slip, while Miss Fea* toniby wore coffee lace, with georgette slip and sleeves. Their bouquets were of yellow roses, gladioli, abutilons and maidenhair fern. The best man was Mr. Elliott, whilst the groomsman was Mr. McStwain. After the ceremony a reception was held in: the Oddfellows' Hall, w&«re Mrs Featoaby received her gu»sts :in a black figured' voile frock, with collar and cuffs of picoted fawa silk. Her bouqufet was of red carnations, gladioli, and maidenhair fern, Later, the bride and. bridegroom left for

the. South, the bride's frock being a green silk jumper-su it^with fawn hat and shoes.

Berry was best man, and" Mr J. Hagart (brother of the bride), greomsman. The bride's frock was of champagne mariette. With fitting bodice, tight s^leevesj and long uneven skirt. Her veil was .of tulle,. shaded in tones' of ■ champagne and deep* coffee colour, and was^ worn, wit»h sprays of orange blossoni. She carried ;a beauti- ■ ful.sheath of roses (in iones of frock), and .maidenhair'fern. Mrs X Berry (sister of the bride), was mat Ton of honour, and the bridesmaid Miss Buiby Lee. Mrs Berry ' wore nymph green i mariette, .with uneven hem, and small cape, and her >liat was of green felt. 'Miss Lee's frock was of shrimp,.pink TtnaTiette, ..bertha and pink . felt hat. Bouquets of pink rpses and^ maidenhair Jem were Carried by both ladles/ Mr. Kerry 6ffi'eiate*d atr the organ, and the Bey J. Lopdell, of Lower Hutt, was the officiating minister. Mr and Mts Hagart h'eld a reception- at: Gamble and Creed's. Amongst, t&e guests were 'Mr and Mrs J. E. Smith, Mrs D: McDonald (Palmerston uNorth), M^r and Mrs Alex Smith, Mr and- Mrs H. Smith, i/[r and ••Mrs'.Astall, Mesdames Lee, Lopdell, Wakelin and Eearee (Hawera), Winter, "..Ewart anct White, and the Misses Belcher (2), Findlay, Kersley, Woodwood,. holm, 'Astall and Smith. ,-- The church was; very prettily decorated by Mr and Mrs Kerslcy with hydrangeas, whilst the tables were decorated with dahlias: The bride's travelling costume was a geranium • j.ersey silk, trimmed, with fawn and green, -with which' was -worn a fawn and red coat, Stone-marten fur, and smaH Jiayy bat. v ;
