FIVE DIE DURING BLIZZARD

BODIES iEWKD IN TASMAN GLACIER. _

The'worst alpine disaster in New Zealand occurred, on Mount Odok last week ■when .a party of four ladies and 'a jguide were. caught, in a blizzardVbetween the ' Malte Brun Hut and Ball Hut on the Tasmaxt Glacier about midday and perished from exposure. Their bodies, were found four miles down the glacier from the Malte Brun by Guide G. Hilgendorf, who hacL remained behind _ to eldan up the hut.
