The. acceptances received for the Wellington Trotting Cl*b's Gold Cup--meeting to be held, on Saturday next, January 25,' have exceeded expectations. The two principal races, the -NTew Zealand Trotting Gold Cup and the Dispatch Handicap, have filled; par-
ticularly well. The Cup has a..field of
twelve of the highest class in the DoW niinion and the big sprint has thirteen ;.oo,p-o!s of equal quality.
