ST JAMES'S CHURCH GARDEN PARTY.

All who attended t&e Garden Party last February in 'connection with Sit. James's Church in Mr. V. Biddiford's beautiful grounds, carry very pleasant memories of the happy time spent there.and are longing for a repetition of the enjoyable, afternoon.

Mr and Mrs BiddifoTd have very kindly consented to allow t&eir grounds to be used for, another - similar event about the middle of next month, when

the public will agafc& have the opportunity of admiring the artiste gardens and enjoying the fun provided,

A meeting of t-Jie committee has already been held and Mrs H. Ef Leignton has again been, prevailed upon to undertake the duties _ of. organiser. Whilst it is the intention of the committee to, run the fete on similar lines to last year, a number of novelty 'events will be introduced whieih. should make the afternoon's programme" even more attractive than on the previous occasion. A number of promises of" help have been received from those who can make cakes/ sweets, fancy work, sewing, carpentry, household requisites, etc. Stalls will be arranged for the sale of all articles including vegetables and produce. ... -.
