LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

The Lower Hutt Branch of the League of Mothers met for its final meeting for 1929 on Thursday, November 21at, a laTge number of members being present. The afternoon was a memorable one, an Admission Service being Sield and feeling reference being made to the departure of the League's great leader, Lady Alice Wergusson, and the high resolve of all to; carry on as she would-wish. of members, who 2iad expended no end of time and trouble in malsing things of artistic, vet practical, interest. After an introduction by the President, Mrs. E. Dawson, the child's meals, clothes, bedroom, stories, games and pictures were in turn referred tp. Practical illustrations were arranged in all cases and the members given a chance."to view the daintily set out meals, carefully-planned clothes," suitably furnished bedroom and games of all descriptions. • .
