Residents in Lower Hivtt will be interested, to learn that Handel's "The Slessiah" will be sung again in the Uutt during the Christmas season. The performance .will .be in the Methodist CSrurch Laing's Eoad on Sunday evening, December 15. The' Choir will "be eagmented fox the occasion and .an efficient orchestra ynll, with. the. organ, provide the accompaniments and instrumental numbers. The- conductor will b.e Mr. Ernest Dawson, who invites singers who would like to take part in perforjnance to attend ihe Temainiug rehearsals which will be -held an the Methodist School-room each Thursday evening at.eight o'clock.
