BOWLING NOTES.

A large number of bowlers enjoyed a delightful day on, the Hutt green on Labour Day. The weather was ideal and the green was never in better condition.

Twenty-four competitors played for the Barnett Parrs. The contest was very keen and was eventually won by Scrivener for the skips and by Pratt (w>3io played as substitute for Carriek) for the leads.

' Secretary Stoneliouse -was -warmly complimented on the efficient way in which the day's events were carried out.

Next Satin-day, Nomination Rinks will be played and on the following Saturday the Banner Competition will be commenced.
