The golden wedding of Mr. and ,JMtr.». John Lusty, was recently celebrated at theit residence in Ludlam Crescent. The*. six sons and three daughters undtwenty one grandchildren and numerous personal friends were present. Mr. Lusty arrived in Timaru fiftythree years ago, and later resided st Blenheim and Nelson. He was married in Bleniheim. . He came to' the iower Hutt abotit thirty years ago and lies resided here ever since. X very pleasant evening was spent by all present, and all: expressed -.he wish that the old couple, who are boti in the best of health, would have many more years of aphpiiiess toget&er.' /'Jackie," as Mr, liusty ia familikrlv known to most resident, is now leading a retired life.
