The Taita team was as follows: Backs: P. Brice, E. Faster, J. Bartosh, P. Moore, S. Carter, G. Gorrie and Rixtrott; forwards: Ted Bartosh, A-Doran, J. Gorrie, F. Gorrie/ N.~ Meldrunl, L. Goss, L. Murray and J. Brice. The game was not up to the usual standard of junior football, the play at times being very patchy. The only spectacular piece of play was when P. Brice Becured the ball from the scrum and in a splendid passing rush, the ball being handled by all the backs Gome went over in the corner to score a good try. Eric Foster made a good attempt to add the extra points, the ball just missing the posts. The game was controlled by Mr "Picolo" Ashton.

There was a good attendance at the euchre party on Tuesday nig"ES. Mrs Kells was the winner of the ladies prize and Mr Ferretti secured the gents prize.

Ab the date for the Taita football dance clashes with the Hutt Club, the Taita dance has been postponed until July 17th.
