The members, including the ladies will journey tc Masterton next Saturday to compete in the five mile Sander's Cup
contest,, .commencing from the Masterton Oval. For the first time since their inception the ladies'will be Topposed to a newly formed "Masterton Ladies' Club and Mr A. Hadley's trophy should be keenly contested and\ it is certain to become an annual event.
A special bus has been: engaged-to convey the members and will cave the Petone Post Office at 7.45 a.m.'ln the evening the Club- vrill be the guests at a social and dance in the Arcadia Hall, Masterton.
The residents of Waterloo Road are greatly concerned at the present time over.the presence of "Peeping Toms" in their neighbourhood. The matter has been* placed in the hands :Of the police who are keeping a close watch on anyj suspicions eharaeteTa:changing around at night time, The penalty for this offence is a very heavy one "and it would be advisable for these night skulkers to seek a more honourable. occupation for their spare moments.
