contest,, .commencing from the Masterton Oval. For the first time since their inception the ladies'will be Topposed to a newly formed "Masterton Ladies' Club and Mr A. Hadley's trophy should be keenly contested and\ it is certain to become an annual event.

A special bus has been: engaged-to convey the members and will cave the Petone Post Office at 7.45 a.m.'ln the evening the Club- vrill be the guests at a social and dance in the Arcadia Hall, Masterton.

The residents of Waterloo Road are greatly concerned at the present time over.the presence of "Peeping Toms" in their neighbourhood.
