>Sir,—Some of the newly elected councillors _ could make themselves good ChEistian missionaries a-nd save quite a lot of words being spoken in the above place, if they would only advocate for eleetrie" light being installed in the pavilion. Last . Saturday^ week the wi&ter visited, some of the dressing sheds after the matches were over and it. was really*wonderful how the players were able to find their own clothes. T-his was only done by a lot of exchanging of words you wouldn't exp v eet to hear in a- best room, and the wonderful faculty which man has when faced with no other alternative. Truly the sense of touch/was well illustratedr At present the place is dimly lit by gas and it' v was gas at its worst. So seeing that it is a place wheTe we have dozens of visitors every Saturday, let us give t&em an impression that we have., as good facilities out here as they liave in the city. reserves.—l am etc.,
