MOTORISTS.

Applications for re-licensing of motor vehicles are being made very slowly at the local post office. There are 1500 number plates to be issued in this district and 30 far only about 300 -have been applied for, The number plates can be used from 25th inst r and motorists to save the rush should^ make immediate application for them if they wish to save themselves considerable inconvenience, at the end iof the month. To give the public a further opportunity, of securing these plates the Post Office will be ppen next Friday night (24th inst) between the hours of 7 and 8.
