T-he usual dancb and card. evening was held in the Scout Hall on. Saturday evening last, 'when over 100 guests were present. The winners of the "500" Tournament. for; the... ..evening were Mrs. J. Lo\wy and 'Mr. H.- V. VVestbury A special prize-donated by Mrs Westury was won" by 'Mrs. Webley.

Last Saturday was the ; final night, of the first aggregate,1 arid it was then found that the.,-winners of jthe'first aggregate were Mrs "Witelier land Mr J. Wallace." Tie prizes in connection with 'this will) he presented next Saturday. Guests are asked to .-.note that' next Saturday, being the occasion of the G-rand Carnival Ball, will not be counted as an aggregate night, but will be a ''special prize" night. The next aggregate will continence on Saturday, Ist June./ : - ;

' Great preparations are on foot for the' Carniya;! .Bail to be held in' the Scout ! Hall next Saturday. Many novelty .dances will: be introduced, while Miss K. BaTtosi will give several . exhibition dances., New decorations will add a charm to the occasion, while in spite, of the added' expense |of 'the evening, no extra charge will be-made.
