HUTT BUSINESS MEN'S ASSOCIATION.
The President (Mr. J. M. Power), presided at a meeting of the Shopping Week committees last Monday evening. A large amount of business was transacted.
The various sub-eomniitteees reported that they were receiving general support from the local business people. One and all were enthusiastic and determined to make a real success of the 1928 Shopping Week.
The hope was expressed that still more, young people in particular, would endeavour to find a really good slogan for Shopping Week. The conditions for
entering this competition are to be found on the centre page of this issue; they are not difficult. The prize money is good! So make a name for yourself and a name for your town!
The. Business ; Men's Association is a real power in the town; and so powerful is this "Power" that no power in the Valley can stop its efforts to foster local industry.
